How far is the walk? I am recovering from an injury and would love to participate but I need some idea of the distance and pace. Thanks

    • secretsofportlandia says:

Hi there, Debbie. The tour is a bit over a mile. About 1.3 miles. The tour lasts about 2 hours and there are 12 different stops on the tour where you can rest. The distance between each of the 12 stops on the tour is about 2 to 3 city blocks…

Do we actually stop and wait in line to eat at these places or do we just look? For example voodoo donuts, I know the lines are long, so during the tour do you just tell us the story behind voodoo donuts then move on or can we all wait in line and enjoy? Same thing for the food carts, beer breweries and etc

      • secretsofportlandia says:

I tell you the story behind these Portland food icons and then end the tour in front of Voodoo donuts so people can jump in that long line if they would like! But no, there isn’t enough time to wait for people to get food at the food carts. That would totally disrupt the flow of the tour…

Hi – We would like to join in on your tour next week. Can you please share car parking information/recommendations?

    • secretsofportlandia says:

The best place to park is the Smart Park garage- entrance on SW 10th Ave between Yamhill and Morrisson! Its just three blocks from where we start the tour and has the best rates, too.
